The Blue Elephant Energy Group develops, acquires, and operates solar and wind farms (onshore) as well as storage solutions. Since its founding in 2016, it has built up a portfolio with a total capacity of 2,107 MW in nine countries, with a focus on Western and Central Europe. Our generation capacity consists of 74% PV, 25% wind, and 1% battery storage. In the Netherlands, we are the largest solar park operator with a capacity of over 660 MWp. Through cooperation agreements with several project developers and landowners, we have secured an additional 9,580 MW of solar park and battery storage capacity. Our projects make a substantial contribution to sustainable energy supply and climate protection. By the end of 2024, BEE will have saved 3,758,363 tons of CO₂ and supplied almost 700,000 households with clean energy.

The Blue Elephant Energy Group was established in 2016 by CEO and shareholder Felix Goedhart and his core team as well as two family offices. The company has grown dynamically since then. In 2022 the renowned international infrastructure investor Antin acquired 70% of the company, providing capital for further expansion.

When acquiring solar parks and wind farms, we rely on long-standing partners, in particular project developers, with whom we can work in a trusting relationship and who appreciate our reliability and dynamism.
